Telehealth sessions allow clients the option to engage in sessions virtually through a video call. These sessions are conducted in much of the same way as an in-person session but allow clients to access services in the comfort of their own home.
Telehealth sessions at Abundant Life Counseling are conducted on a HIPPA compliant telehealth site called doxy.me More information about doxy.me can be found in the patients section of their website at https://doxy.me/patients. Instructions
In order to start your scheduled video session, you will need to have access to the internet and use one of the following supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
Please enter the waiting room 2-3 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Links for each clinicians waiting room are below. Also note that we do our best to stay on schedule but occasionally we run behind. If your clinician is not logged on immediately it is likely because they are running late in another session.
Once you enter the waiting room you do not need to do anything else, your clinician will start your session from there.
If you experience any difficulties entering the on-line waiting room or are running late for your appointment, please contact your clinician via phone or e-mail.
Prior to the start of an on-line mental health sessions clients are required to complete a New Client Paperwork packet (if they are a new client) and a separate consent for telemental health services through Abundant Life Counseling. Forms are available in the client forms section of our website.
